In today’s world printing your own barcodes comes with a high responsibility for their individual quality. Norprint can assist you in verifying that each one meets the quality and grade required in the global standard known as ANSI, be it in line with your current equipment or as a secondary quality control process.  If you supply major retailers or produce barcodes, Norprint can help in their verification.

Online Barcode Verification

This system includes the Axicon verifier, bespoke software that runs on Windows® platform and our purpose built frame attached to the front of your printer. All barcodes are scanned for quality and are displayed on your PC screen. These can be viewed and stored in the software for Quality control purposes. We have the ability to connect the printer and the PC and to halt the printer should the ANSI quality levels drop below your required standard allowing the operator or quality team to investigate why the barcodes are failing.

Offline Barcode Verification

This system is ideal where the user needs to have a procedure in place for sampling a batch of barcodes. Usually if the quality is checked at the start and the end of the print run you might wish to assume that everything in-between is of an acceptable ANSI grade.

There are different verifier options available, ones that plug into a USB port and the scanned data is displayed on screen along with the barcodes product details. Others which are portable device which can be used where the barcodes are being created or on the factory floor.
